You gotta start somewhere...
It's been no little secret that over Gage Machines Tool's 18-year history, Training, has played a vital role in the companies success. Over the years that training has taken many different forms. From extensive onsite, multi-day courses to intimate one-on-one discussions, the definition of training has evolved. When you're trying to decide how to spend anywhere from Sixty Thousand dollars to Half a million, it helps to know that the people you're giving your hard earned money to actually know how to run the equipment your buying. The last thing a busy shop floor needs is the morale boost of the bosses latest paperweight.
Coming off the huge success that 2017 was for Gage Machine Tool we are going to double down on our "always training" philosophy. Part of this is an effort to actually make all the training possible as we have been swamped. If you were not aware, Gage Machine Tool trains, for free, on every single machine we sell. When you sell over 50 in a year and you have at least two days of training on each machine. You get the picture.
So in 2018, we will be implementing a few changes to our training programs. First, we will be training on every new machine we sell, as always. This is part of who we are and that will never change. Secondly, we will be holding training classes on a regular basis throughout the year. (See below for your areas dates). These classes will be the "101" Intro classes that encompass the exact same training you would get if you bought a machine. These will be classroom settings and machines will be available to work on in some cases. Thirdly, we will be offering on-site additional training as well. These are designed to be at the machine classes that focus on your companies specific requirements. Whether its G-Code integration, robotics integration, fixture design/work holding, 5 Axis, or just efficiency help. Last but not least we will be rolling out a new training program call "Advanced Class". This course will start out as a free course and be web-based, two-hour training. For now, it looks like Go-To-Meeting will be the preferred method of delivering these classes.
Feedback on these courses, times, locations and content is always encouraged. Please feel free to contact us anytime about your training requirements.
